Terms of Service
Effective: August 27, 2026
Zoomies is operated by Felix Deffke, an individual based in Germany ("we," "us"). By using offline-kids.com (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
1. The Service
Zoomies helps parents find screen-free activities for their kids, and helps families put together a gift list to share with relatives and friends. Everything on the Service is free.
2. Accounts
You can browse activities, save them, and mark them done without an account — those stay in your browser. An account is only needed to keep that across devices and to create a gift list. You're responsible for keeping your login secure and for all activity under your account. You must be an adult (18+) to create an account — this Service is for parents, not for children to use directly.
3. The Service is free
There is no paid tier, no subscription, and nothing to buy from us. Every activity, every situation, and every feature is available at no cost. We will not start charging you for something you are already using without telling you clearly and in advance.
Zoomies previously offered a one-time "Premium" purchase. That was withdrawn and everything it unlocked is now free for everyone. If you bought Premium before it was withdrawn, see our Refund Policy.
4. How we make money — affiliate links
Some product links on gift lists are affiliate links. If someone buys through one, we may earn a small commission from the retailer. This never changes the price you or your guests pay, and you never have to use those links.
We are not the seller. Anything you buy is a contract between you and that retailer, under their terms — including price, shipping, returns, and warranty. We have no control over their stock, delivery, or product quality, and we are not responsible for those.
Where an activity needs nothing you have to buy, we say so plainly instead of suggesting a product.
5. Gift lists and sharing
A gift list you create gets a private link with an unguessable address. We do not list it publicly or allow search engines to index it, but anyone who has the link can open the list — so share it only with people you want to see it. You can delete a list at any time.
When a guest reserves an item, that reservation is deliberately hidden from you, the list owner, so the surprise holds. Reservations are a courtesy signal between guests, not a binding commitment by anyone to actually buy anything.
You're responsible for what you put on a list. Don't add anything unlawful, and — for your own child's sake — don't add anything that identifies them. The Service never asks you for a child's name, birthdate, photo, or address, and you shouldn't type one into a free-text field.
6. Safety — please read this one
Activities on Zoomies involve physical play and everyday household materials — some involve scissors, water, small parts, running, climbing, or other activity that carries ordinary childhood risk. Every card carries a "Good to know" safety note where relevant, but you, the parent or caregiver, are solely responsible for supervising your child, judging whether an activity is appropriate for your child's age and abilities, and providing any supervision the activity needs. We don't know your child or your home — you do.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any injury, damage, or loss arising from using an activity found on this Service.
7. Limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is" and free of charge. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, and our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to EUR 100.
Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited under applicable law.
8. Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Germany, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Nothing in this section takes away any consumer protection right you have under the mandatory law of the country or state where you live — where local law gives you stronger rights than these Terms, that local law controls for that issue.
9. Arbitration agreement & class action waiver
You and Zoomies agree to resolve any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service through binding individual arbitration, not in court, except where prohibited by mandatory law in your jurisdiction.
Arbitration will be conducted by a single arbitrator under the rules of a recognized arbitration body for consumer disputes, and may be conducted by phone, online, or based on written submissions alone, at your choice. You may instead bring a claim in small claims court if it qualifies.
Class action waiver: you and Zoomies agree that any dispute will be brought only in an individual capacity, and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class, collective, or representative proceeding. If this class action waiver is found unenforceable as to a particular claim, that claim (and only that claim) may proceed in court, with the rest of this arbitration agreement remaining in effect for all other claims.
Opt-out: you may opt out of this arbitration agreement by emailing hello@offline-kids.com within 30 days of first agreeing to these Terms, stating your name and that you opt out of arbitration. Opting out does not affect any other part of these Terms.
10. Ending your use
You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time — see our Privacy Policy for how. We may suspend or end access if someone uses the Service unlawfully or in a way that harms other people using it.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the Service changes. We'll post the new version here with an updated effective date; continued use after a change means you accept the update.
